Terms of Use
1. The service
BitzPlanner (the planner) is an online service from SpaceBitz for scheduling appointments: customers choose a free time slot, the planner takes working hours and connected calendars into account, and sends confirmations and reminders. These terms apply to everyone who uses the planner: organisations, their users in the admin area and their customers who book an appointment.
2. Account
For a new business, you create an account in the admin area yourself at /start; as a team member, you receive one by invitation from an administrator of your organisation. Your account is personal: you keep your password secret and report any misuse immediately to support@spacebitz.com. The organisation decides who has access and revokes it when someone leaves.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the planner only to schedule your own appointments and for lawful purposes.
- Only enter customer data for which you have a legal basis, and comply with the privacy rules that apply to your organisation.
- Do not try to circumvent security, overload the service or view the data of other organisations.
- Only connect calendars that you control yourself. A Google connection is voluntary and you can disconnect it at any time.
4. Availability
SpaceBitz takes reasonable care to provide a working and secure service, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Where possible, we announce maintenance in advance. Third-party services (such as Google, Supabase and Netlify) may sometimes be interrupted; SpaceBitz has no control over this.
5. Liability
SpaceBitz is not liable for indirect damage, such as missed appointments, loss of profit or loss of data due to an error by a user or a third-party service. In any event, the liability of SpaceBitz is limited to the fee that the organisation paid for the planner in the last twelve months. This does not apply in the case of intent or gross negligence.
6. Data
How the planner processes personal data and data from Google Calendar is set out in the privacy policy. The data of an organisation remains the data of that organisation; when the service ends, it is provided on request and then deleted.
7. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement are brought before the competent court of the registered office of SpaceBitz.
8. Changes
SpaceBitz may amend these terms. We announce material changes in the admin area at least thirty days in advance; the date at the top shows the latest version. Anyone who continues to use the planner after that accepts the new terms.
